NFL and College Football's top teams to face-off on AstroTurf
This weekend, all eyes will be on AstroTurf as the top teams in NFL and collegiate ranks plays nationally televised games on infilled systems from AstroTurf. On Saturday, #1 LSU travels to Oxford to face Ole Miss at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. The game will be televised nationally on CBS at 3:30pm EST. Then on Sunday Night Football on NBC, the undefeated New England Patriots will travel to Buffalo to face the resurgent Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 8:15pm EST.
Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, home of the Ole Miss Rebels, added an infilled system from AstroTurf in 2003. Opened in 1915, it is the second oldest stadium in the SEC and holds nearly 61,000 fans.
Ralph Wilson Stadium, home of the Buffalo Bills, added an infilled system from AstroTurf in 2003. Home of the Bills since 1973, Ralph Wilson Stadium holds nearly 74,000 fans.
