NFL Play 60 Youth Football Festival in Central Park

With the NFL Draft coming up this weekend, the NFL celebrated with the NFL PLAY 60 Youth Football Festival presented by Nike Let Me Play in Central Park. Top Draft prospects Jake Long, Chris Long, Matt Ryan, Glenn Dorsey, Vernon Gholston and Darren McFadden came out along with current NFL players Osi Umenyiora, Kevin Kolb, Kellen Clemens and many more to teach kids basic skills for NFL FLAG football and encourage them to get active at least 60 minutes everyday.

As part of the festival, the NFL will donate a $500,000 AstroTurf field to Midwood High School in Brooklyn as a legacy of the first-ever NFL PLAY 60 Youth Football Festival. The field will be complete by Autumn of 2008, when Midwood hosts the New York City Public School Athletic League Football Championships. It was a great day of Play 60 fun.
