Vinny Yoos, Project Director - Northeast
Vinny Yoos graduated from Pennsylvania State University earning a degree in Civil Engineering. He began his career working with PBS&J, a civil engineering firm. During his tenure, he was a staff engineer, project engineer, and project manager. His duties while at PBS&J were several functions including, conducting travel studies, cost estimating, and overseeing and reviewing of transportation / environment / structural design aspects of projects.
In 2006, Vince made a transition to the synthetic turf industry working for Fieldturf USA, Inc. as a civil engineer and a construction manager. Vince constructed and designed 400 fields while employed by Fieldturf USA, Inc. Base design was one of his responsibilities which included drainage design, cross sections, and edged details. Other responsibilities that Vince performed were storm water calculations and cost estimates for both base construction and turf installation.
Vince brings years of expertise to AstroTurf® and is involved in all facets of producing a high quality field. His engineering knowledge and background in so many fields brings a wide range of experience to AstroTurf®.
