In May 2008, the Geneva Area Recreational, Educational, Athletic Trust was announced. This non-profit corporation was created to focus both energy and funding towards creating a world-class multipurpose facility.

The Spire Sports Complex, formally known as GaREAT, is now more than a vision; it is a work in progress. Construction work is in progress on the facilities that will span more than 450,000 square feet over multiple facilities that are center stage over the 175-acre campus.

For almost 30 years the Yardley Makefield Soccer Club has provided an opportunity to play soccer for youth between the ages of 3 1/2 to adult. Presently the club is over 2,000 members strong which includes recreational , travel, adult league players, coaches and staff. Our goal is to create an atmosphere within which children and adults of all ability levels can learn the game of soccer as well as important life skills of sportsmanship, teamwork and discipline.
