Rusty Russell comes to AstroTurf® with 5 years synthetic turf sales and management experience in the Southeast, which includes the states of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi. He lives and works out of Valdosta, Georgia.

Rusty, who was a second generation college coach, worked for 27 years in the coaching ranks prior to entering into the synthetic turf industry. He graduated with a Business Degree from the University of Georgia, where he was a 3-year defensive starter and letterman for the Georgia Bulldogs.

Russell had coaching stints at Georgia, Memphis, Vanderbilt, Valdosta State, Central Florida, S.M.U., Pitt, Shreveport (CFL), Youngstown State, and Georgia Southern. Rusty and his wife have 5 children and 4 grandchildren.
