Malvern Preparatory School is a member of the Inter-Academic (Inter-Ac) League, which embraces the philosophy that competitive athletic programs balance the excellent academic tradition of member schools. Malvern's program recognizes the importance of physical conditioning and athletic competition to enhance the school experience.
Malvern Prep lacrosse has competed seven times in the InterAc League Championships including the last four consecutive years and awarded the Pennsylvania State Champions in 2006.

CGHS Stadium is home of the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders football, soccer and lacrosse teams. When looking for a versatile field surface that would accommodate all these sports, The Crusaders choice was to install the durable AstroTurf® GameDay Grass™ 3D system in the summer of 2011.
Under the direction of Head Coach Mike Curatola, the Crusaders lacrosse team is ranked 14th in North Carolina with 68 wins out of 79 games over the last four seasons.

The varsity program is lead by a three-time Coach of the Year, Troy Kemp. Coach Kemp has accumulated 173 wins, 57 losses, and 7 state championships (1996, 1997, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2009, 2010) in his nineteen years as McCallie's lacrosse leader.
Over the past two decades, the program has amassed 10 state championships, 10 All-Americans, 75 All-State players, and 32 collegiate players (10 Division I). McCallie has been in the state championship game 15 out of the 21 years of the program's existence.

In just the second year of the program, JU women's lacrosse finished 2011 with a 14-5 record and its first-ever regular season National Lacrosse Conference championship.
Under head coach Mindy McCord, the Dolphins improved from an 8-11 record in its first season to finishing nine games over .500 and earning a spot in the NLC championship game.
