David Shaheen joined AstroTurf® in November 2009 as a Project Manager in the Southeast region. David is responsible for many tasks with the focus toward civil engineering and keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

David attended the University of Florida and majored in Turf Science. During his internship at the City of Coco Beach, Florida, David redesigned the greens and surfaces at the local golf course as well as six baseball fields and four softball fields. Shortly after finishing school, David secured a position as a construction manager.

In addition, David also worked at Fieldturf USA, Inc. as a project manager and managed the construction of forty fields. He brings valuable managerial experience to AstroTurf® and the projects he oversees.
