Dear Mr. (Bryan) Peeples,

I wanted to take the time to compliment you and your firm on the excellent product we have had installed at our Football complex. In 2006, the University made the decision to start football again after a 50-year absence. We built a new complex with a new field, stands, and a wonderful field house. In the decision making process we decided the best alternative for our venue was to use the artificial surface provided by AstroTurf®. We have not been disappointed.

In the last 4 years since the installation, our first season was the fall of 2008, the need for maintenance and repairs has been less than minimal. The importance of a substructure for this facility cannot be understated and we have one of the best. It handles heavy rains like a champion. The surface is fantastic. Through a simple grooming process, we prepare the field for use and do next to nothing each week to prepare for game time. It looks as good today and the day it was installed. We have our name in the end zones, the donor’s name along the sidelines and our word mark at midfield, truly a site to be proud of.

In the fall of 2010, we had significant rains each Thursday and Friday and all the local high schools had to postpone playoff games due to wet conditions. Our field was offered and used for the local high schools making a run at the state championships. Every team that played at our venue was truly blown away by the quality of the turf and the playability of the surface even after 3-4 inches of rain the night before.

As we see the investment we made on this field move through the years, we continue to be proud of our facility and satisfied we made the right choice between natural turf and synthetics as well as the right choice of a product in AstroTurf®. We would highly recommend this turf to any facility wanting to improve the playability and reduce the cost of maintenance and setup for events.
